What brought you to Powell River?: The community vibe, closeness to the ocean and lakes, and something intangible that just felt like home.
When you're not working, how do you like to spend your time?: Puttering around the ocean and lakes in our kayaks or our little 12' boat, hiking/walking, standing at our window with binoculars glued to our face.
What’s the first career you dreamed of having as a kid? : Believe it or not, I never actually dreamed of a career. I guess I wanted to live with my best friend on a farm... so maybe, farmer?
What's one thing about you that surprises people?: I'm not as confident or fearless as people assume.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?: You can be right, but you can be dead right.
What is a dream you have that you’ve yet to achieve?: Living abroad for a year (give or take).
What do you love most about your career? : I love the flexibility that comes with running my own business. That, and the fact that my cat sits on my lap while I work.
