Women of the Year Awards Nomination
Thank you for taking the time to nominate an outstanding woman in business!
Anyone can nominate and nominees can be any woman that lives in the qathet Regional District (Saltery Bay to Lund and Texada) operates a business, volunteers their time or works for a business based in Powell River. Coastal Women in Business membership is not required.
Here are the nomination categories:
Category A: Outstanding Business Owner of the Year (Brick & Mortar business). This award is open to any woman who owns a business in Powell River or qathet Regional District, operating for a minimum of two year.
Category B: Outstanding Home-Based Business Owner of the Year. This award is open to any woman in Powell River or qathet Regional District, who operates a business out of her home operating for a minimum of two year. This category also includes those women who operate under a Direct Selling program.
Category C: Outstanding Volunteer of the Year. This award is open to any woman in Powell River or qathet Regional District, working for a non-profit in a volunteer capacity. The organization must have existed for at least two years.
Category D: Outstanding Employee of the Year. This award is open to any woman working within a business in Powell River or qathet Regional District, and that has been employed with the business for a minimum one year.
